SFCC Communication & Engagement Survey

This February, the SFCC Board convened a meeting with all Block Representatives to discuss ways of improving neighborhood communication and engagement.

Block Representatives play a crucial role in maintaining a vibrant, connected community. Their involvement is key to the success of our group, and we hope to make this meeting an annual event—an opportunity for the board to hear their ideas, gather feedback, and collaborate on ways to enhance communication.

We are exploring various methods to improve connectivity within our neighborhood, including group emails, WhatsApp groups, and better utilization of the Sherwood Forest website. situations—such as last year’s windstorm—as well as for social events and meetings. Strengthening these communication channels will be especially beneficial during emergency situations—such as last year’s windstorm—as well as for social events and meetings.

Additionally, we are developing a communication survey, which we hope you can complete. The survey is available electronically here:   SFCC Communications Survey

If you prefer, your block rep can provide a hard copy, please let them know.

Thank you to all our incredible Block Representatives for your dedication to making Sherwood Forest a thriving and welcoming community!

Charlie Margolis – Memorial bench

Hello SFCC Neighbors

Last year we lost our dear neighbor and co-presedint, Charlie Margolis. As many of you know, Charlie loved the outdoors and was an active and beloved member of our community.

On behalf of the Sherwood Forest Garden Club, Community Club and Emergency Preparedness Group, we would like to honor his memory by having a memorial bench installed in Ardmore Park, which was one of his favorite places in the neighborhood.

Please help us raise funds for this bench with your generous donation, here.

Thank you
