The Neighborhood Block Reps acts as a vital bridge between the community club and neighborhood residents. Reps are a friendly, approachable resource for neighbors, representatives of community needs, and advisors to the board. Block Leaders foster a safe, inclusive, and connected neighborhood environment. Responsibilities include:

• Greet new residents to make them feel welcome and informed about our community club.
• Distribute newsletters twice a year to keep their block updated on community activities and initiatives.
• Collect contact information and dues for they block as needed.
• Advocate for neighborhood needs and provide insights and suggestions to assist the board in making well-informed decisions that benefit the broader community.
• Block Reps are welcome to participate in board meetings to stay informed on community projects and operations.

 Time commitment is a few hours per year to:

• A couple of hours to distribute newsletters in spring and fall.
• Optionally attend monthly board and neighborhood meetings, one hour per month.
• Regular interaction with residents and dissemination of information as needed.
